Sr. Instr. ANA TINA JURGEC
Dr Marta Licardo is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, member of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Vice Dean for Research, International Cooperation and Development. Her research interests include pedagogy, didactics, social sciences in early childhood education, inclusion, education of children with special needs and immigrant children. She is the national coordinator of the European Early Childhood Education Research Association (EECERA) for Slovenia. She is active in several research and applied projects at national and international level. She participates in various working groups at the University of Maribor, the Slovenian Institute of Education and the Ministry of Education related to her professional, scientific or pedagogical work. Assoc. Prof. Marta Licardo, PhD




Ana Tina Jurgec is the Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, and Senior Lecturer in the Didactics of Dance Education at the Department of Early Childhood Education. She was a member of the SNG Maribor ballet ensemble for many years and at the same time completed her studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor, majoring in Pedagogy and Slovenian. For many years she taught ballet at music schools, gaining valuable experience in working with children, which she now passes on to her students. She is also a doctoral student at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor.
JASNA NUŠA ŠTAHER
Dr Maruša Laure is a researcher in the field of early childhood education. Her research work in the field of psychology and music didactics is mainly focused on the study of child-centred pedagogical concepts such as Montessori pedagogy and the Suzuki approach. She completed her studies at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana, in the instrumental and vocal pedagogy programme, and at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, in the music pedagogy programme. She also holds a doctorate in educational sciences from the same faculty and a certificate as a Montessori educator and teacher. She works at the Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education, University of Maribor.
Assoc. Prof. MARUŠA LAURE PhD




Jasna Nuša Štaher is a qualified preschool teacher who works at the Boris Pečet Maribor kindergarten. With 20 years of experience in the field of early childhood education and as the author of numerous professional articles and examples of good practice, she has participated in professional journals and international conferences on early childhood education. She has worked for many years as a coordinator of various projects. Her interest in modern and innovative approaches to education is deepened by her knowledge of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and modern neuroscience research.
BARBARA ŠATER
Ana Studen is a qualified preschool teacher at the Boris Pechet Maribor kindergarten, where she passionately leads the enrichment activity - the pre-school choir. Her experience goes back to the world famous choir Carmina Slovenica, where she perfected her singing. She has also participated in the opera choirs of the SNG Maribor and SNG Ljubljana and regularly takes part in solo singing, competitions and concerts.
She now enthusiastically shares her rich musical knowledge with pre-school children. In her free time, she still actively sings, explores new places and enjoys nature, especially the sea and seaside towns. She prefers to spend her precious time in the company of her loved ones and friends.




Barbara Šater is a qualified preschool teacher with 15 years of experience. Her work is not just a job, but a passion that she brings to her daily interaction with children. She is particularly interested in the world of music, dance and visual arts. She is actively involved in various projects, events and conferences where she is constantly learning and collaborating with the teaching community. Participating in these projects allows her to gain new knowledge and experience which helps her to broaden her horizons when working with young people. Barbara is also a proud mother of two children, which gives her an additional perspective and understanding of how important a quality educational environment is for the development of every child.
ANA STUDEN
Klavdija Svet is the founder of Kindergartens International and the author of Elevate to Educate. After 10 years of working in kindergartens where she gained valuable experience and participated in numerous international conferences with her best practice examples, she continued her professional career with Kindergartens International Instituion, a global network of early childhood educators. Klavdija's mission is to empower and guide educators on their journey to become the best version of themselves, a key element in shaping the future of early childhood education. Klavdija Svet is also the author of numerous professional articles.
